Welcome to the Nerdy Q blog

Nerdy Q exists to help organizations get control of their data: how it is stored, how it moves, how it is secured, and how it gets in front of the people who need it. This blog is where I explain how I approach those problems, in plain terms, using the work I actually do.

Data does not have to be complicated. Most of the stress around it comes from two things: practices that grew up by accident, and tools chosen before anyone defined the problem. Fix those two, and data becomes something that works for you rather than something you fight with every week.

Most of my work is built on Microsoft: Power Platform, Azure, Synapse, SharePoint, and Dataverse. That said, every platform has strengths and weaknesses, and tools like UiPath or Palantir Foundry are sometimes the better fit. The point is to choose the tool that fits the job, then use it well enough that it pays for itself.
